First Assamese Movie is about Joymoti Konwari who sacrificed her life to save her husband Gadapani by not disclosing his whereabouts to Chaudang of Ahom Kingdom. Rudra Singh , Joymoti's son, later on created Joysagar pond in her memory where she was tortured.
